First of all, thanks for this awesome homebrew. However, I did notice an issue/bug with color systems on wii. My wii is an NTSC (US) model, and 240p test suite works fine on it. I used any region changer to change it to PAL (EU) to enable RGB output to test a modded CRT, and it outputs RGB signal without any issue. Afterwards I changed my wii's region back to NTSC and I noticed 240p test suite is in black and white only. Everything else (system menu, wii games, emulators running in 240p) is normal and renders color correctly. Tried several different multi-format TVs, a sony trinitron from 90s will show color when color system is set to PAL or NTSC 4.43. On an NTSC only flat panel it shows color correctly. All NTSC CRT TVs I have will only show black and white.
I'm a bit confused now, is there anything else I can test to help identify the cause? Btw running genesis/snes ports with emulator has no issue, just the wii native port.
Thank you for your kind comments and for your report.
From what I read it might be a configuration mistake, or a bug. We'll try to figure it out.
Have you changed back to NTSC and disabled the PAL setting from within the Suite? What you describe is consistant with having it output composite video in PAL color mode and using an NTSC set to display it.
Yes, I think somehow the console is stuck in PAL for 240p test suite. I've already tried changing video modes in main menu, 240p/480i are all in b/w, 288p/576i are in b/w too and image jumps (which i think is normal as my CRT is 60hz NTSC only).
I also tried to disable PAL modes in settings and restart, still in b/w. Also tried to delete 240p suite folder on sd card and reinstall it, still the same.
Checked in any region changer and wii's video mode is indeed set to NTSC, and system menu/homebrew launcher and several 240p emulators all run properly.
YPbPr in NTSC and RGB in PAL both work fine, only composite is stuck in PAL.
Is there a special region on wii's NAND that 240p test suite uses to set video mode to PAL/NTSC but unused by other homebrew/system menu? I suspect any region changer doesn't change this region back to NTSC therefore 240p test suite keeps outputing PAL signal.
the playstation 2 has backwards compatibility with the playstation 1, but if you have the slim it will be much less compatible with playstation 1 games
I downloaded the file for GameCube and Wii burned the dol file for each on a dvdr disc but neither will load in either game system, nor do they even see the discs. What did I do wrong?
Thank you so much for the reply. I'm not that familiar with these gaming systems. I just assumed all I had to do was download and burn the disc. I didn't see anything on either machine's menus regarding Homebrew. Do you know where I could find a step-by-step guide to properly installing your software either for the GameCube or Wii. All of the texts I've read were very vague in their descriptions.
Thanks so much for the link. Is it better to use the SD card over the dvd/cd disc? Also, off subject, do you know if the GameCube controller works with the Wii? Mine doesn't seem to work. I wouldn't want to buy one if my GC is supposed to work.
You can't use the dvd/cd since it has protection. Yes, the GC controller works with the wii, but only in supported software, it won't work on thewii menu

Can I get a psx version working on a ps2?
I honestly don't know, since I didn't make, nor maintain, the psx version. Sorry
the playstation 2 has backwards compatibility with the playstation 1, but if you have the slim it will be much less compatible with playstation 1 games
Any plans for an N64 version?
Yes, will post when I get to it hopefully soon. Thanks
Is there any program for sega saturn?
A beta is in development, no release yet.
Thanks and hope it coming soon
No hay versión para PS2? Saludos
Que tal, no no la hay. Saludos
Hola Artemio!
Saludos.

Hello, the dol files are executables that run as homebrew. You run them from Swiss or the home brew channel.
How do you boot homebrew in your system?

Wii would be the easiest:

For gc you'd need extra hardware
